The Longest Letter Ever received by way of an Airman. Love Real Story
Bazucka
01:20
On October 22, 1960, two fellow airmen and i hitchhiked from our base
in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Denton for a weekend getaway. We had hardly ever thanked our motive force for the journey before pretty women from Texas female’s college noticed our crisp blue uniforms and invited us to a campus dance.
when we were given to the dance, ladies mobbed us. We hadn’t spoken to a younger lady in nearly five months, and now they had been everywhere! on every occasion I tried to take a seat down, a brand new associate yanked me out of my chair.
As a sluggish variety, “Blue Moon,” started out to play, an appealing woman named Karen got here up and asked me to bop. there was a caring high-quality about her that I favored, and we arranged to fulfill again before I left city the subsequent morning.
though i was shipping out quickly, I again to Denton the subsequent two weekends to see Karen. thanks to KP duty, I almost ignored our final weekend collectively, but I paid someone else $15 to put on my name badge and do it for me. Then I went AWOL to peer Karen one final time.
when I left for Hickam Air force Base in Hawaii, we commenced writing to each different immediately. Karen sent me an uncommon letter on round stationery, and i spoke back with a message written at the inside of 3 paper soda straws, which I carefully unwound and stuck again collectively. We shared our appropriate days and our discouraging ones, studying every other far better than we would have in character.
Our unconventional letters progressively became extra elaborate. Karen wrote on strips of shredded paper that she stapled collectively. I stretched a handful of rubber bands over a ruler and wrote a word, then positioned the free bands in an envelope for her to piece collectively. My Morse code letter confused her as a lot as her shorthand letter stressed me, so we both sent translations. Letters handed among us on metallic plates, movie posters and even confetti!
In my favourite letter to Karen, I wrote backward on six labels and placed three on each stop of a paper towel tube. Then I placed a dental reflect within the tube so she may want to study the letter at the same time as it become inner.
However Karen gained our recreation of one-upmanship in 1962. She wrote down one aspect of a 30-foot roll of Teletype paper, then lower back up the opposite side. It took me an hour and a half to examine the letter, and then I found out I hadn’t taken notes! returned in the barracks, four men stretched the letter down the hall even as I ran up and down, writing on a pad. whilst a fellow bay member noticed the ridiculous scene, he had me pose for a photo, which our base paper posted. The Air pressure instances picked up the story, too, and headlined it “here’s a lady Who received’t Be caught Wordless.” The instances referred to as it the “longest letter ever acquired by way of an airman.”
While Karen and that i married on Thanksgiving 1964, we had visible each different best 30 days in four years. Our paper romance worked so nicely that we’ll be celebrating our fiftieth anniversary this year. We nonetheless from time to time send each other love letters for vintage times’ sake.

2016 BMW 330e M Sport first look
Bazucka
06:27
The new BMW 330e adds to the BMW 3 Series model range a plug-in hybrid
variant that meets the highest standards of dynamics and efficiency. The plug-in hybrid drive system delivers familiar BMW driving dynamics by pairing a cutting-edge electric motor producing 88 horsepower (65 kW) and a peak torque of 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) with a four-cylinder combustion engine, which develops 184 hp (135 kW) and 290 Nm (214 lb-ft) of torque. Combined average fuel consumption in the NEDC cycle is 2.1–1.9 litres per 100 kilometres (134.5–148.7 mpg imp), with CO2 emissions coming in at 49– 44 g/km. With a system output of 252 hp (185 kW) and peak torque of
420 Nm (310 lb-ft), the BMW 330e accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.1 seconds on the way to a top speed of 225 km/h (140 mph). The electric motor and combustion engine send their power to the sedan’s rear wheels via a standard-fitted eight-speed Steptronic transmission. The arrangement of the electric motor in front of the transmission allows the transmission ratios to be used in all-electric mode as well. This means a torque converter can be omitted, which partially cancels out the extra weight of the additional drive unit.

A deer doe abandoned one of her twin fawns, the fawn had injured leg and could not keep up with the mother.
I do not support keeping wild animals as a pets, but this was special situation. The baby deer was healed and released back to her real mother.
Update: The doe and two her fawns is still around, we seen them through the summer and the autumn.
I am thankful for every single person who liked, shared and left a comment. I didn't expect this story to become so popular. I am sure that any of us with a little bit of a conscience about our existence, with love for the nature and animals would do the same.

those kids form very special relationships with the family dog. And such a special bond means a kid will be cool with the dog playing part every once in a while. Case in point, this compilation of babies being tucked in by their dogs.
This is an absolutely adorable video, all the more so for the amount of care that the dogs are putting into their task. Considering they don’t have hands, the dogs are incredibly gentle with these kids. It’s the kind of thing that can melt your heart.

A BRAVE diver puts his hands next to the mouth of a dusky shark to remove a hook - after first
hypnotising the predator. The footage, which was filmed in Jupiter, Florida, shows experienced diver Michael Dornellas, 32, coming to the aid of the shark. Using a technique called tonic immobility, he puts the 10ft shark under a type of hypnosis - allowing him to remove the hook from its mouth. Describing his experience with sharks, Dornellas said: “It is never 100% safe, nothing guarantees your safety when you’re swimming with predators." In Florida it is common for sharks to be found with hooks in their mouths due to fishermen catching them for sport then releasing them with the hook still intact.

for his first album- released in 2011, had few TV appearances, interviews, talked about how life suddenly changed from street musician to a celebrity. And then again so quickly as it happened, he ran out of luck, lost his upcoming contracts, forgotten by producers, media and so on. He started as a street musician again, to earn little money and simply because he can't live without music. This video was taken in 2013, only recently in 2015 he managed to release his second album, all on his own, under small record label, no marketing, no tv or radio interviews. unlike his first which was backed by big producer and record label. Dont know how much that will make it for his retirement, but things seems to be going just okay with him. ...one thing for sure, the man always deserved lot more than he ever got. Surse; Youtube

On March 16, 2016, a floating forest of 20 trees will be launched in Rotterdam, Holland. Inspired by an art piece named “In Search Of Habitus,” by artist Jorge Bakker, local art collective Mothership is behind this more ambitious project. After conducting a successful trial in 2014, the group felt it was ready to move forward. “The Bobbing Forest will be made mostly from pre-existing materials,” states the project webpage. “The trees will be donated by the Bomendepot. Each time a part of the city is renovated, trees have to be moved. In the past, these trees would have been destroyed; nowadays, however, the city’s Public Works Department stores them at the Bomendepot. Twenty old sea buoys from the North Sea will be provided by Rijkswaterstaa…”

Slovenian artist creates egg-cellent beauty
Bazucka
00:37
While decorating eggs are a common practice around Easter in many parts of the world,
probably none will be as impressive as the ones created by this man. Slovenian artist Franc Grom uses simple tools to create this - an intricate and stunning artwork achieved by drilling thousands of tiny holes into an egg shell. SOUNDBITE: Artist, Franc Grom, saying (Slovenian) "When I start working on an egg, I don't know exactly how it would look like in the end. I create the design along the way. I do a basic lace-like pattern, and then I fill it in. Sometimes it turns out beautiful." And beautiful they are - though Grom says mimicking traditional Slovenian lace patterns takes a lot of patience and precision. SOUNDBITE: Artist, Franc Grom, saying (Slovenian) "The most difficult part is taking care that the holes are drilled close to each other without breaking the shell. I have set my personal record some 3-4 years ago, with a little over 24,000 holes drilled into a single goose egg." Color is achieved purely by careful polishing. While Grom keeps a large collection of his favorite creations at home he does sell them as souvenirs and for special occasions. But eggs-quisite artwork doens't come cheap, interested buyers have to pay about 100 euros per 1,000 holes.

A fisherman in central Minnesota pulled more than bluegill and bass
Bazucka
23:38
A fisherman in central Minnesota pulled more than bluegill and bass out of his local fishing hole
earlier this month.
While ice fishing on Mayhew Lake, a local man was startled when, using an underwater camera to scout for fish, he discovered a vehicle sitting on the lakebed, the SCTimes reported. He immediately called the Benton County Sheriff's office, which sent deputies to examine the vehicle. Once they arrived, the deputies used their own camera to have a look and discovered a late-90s to early-00s model Dodge Ram pickup in roughly 12 feet of water. The Sheriff's department dive team was then dispatched to search the truck and the area surrounding it for bodies or valuables.
The truck was lift from the lakebed through a huge hole in the ice. The Sheriff's office ran the plates and discovered that it was reported stolen in March of 2000 from a nearby address. Investigators believe that given the truck's location, almost 100 yards from the lake's public access ramp and 25 yards from the north shore, that it was driven on to the lake while it was frozen, then allowed to sink to the bottom once the ice melted.
Thanks to the lake's frigid waters, the truck was surprisingly well preserved. Aside from a missing grille, a coating of mud inside, and a patina of rust on the sheet metal, there was little damage to the truck despite its long rest in the lake. With an engine full of lake water and the damage done by roughly sixteen freeze-thaw cycles, the truck will never run again, but its condition is a good testament to the build quality of those old Rams. It certainly held up better than that '57 Plymouth Belvedere they buried in the time capsule under the Tulsa city courthouse.
